"We enjoyed every minute of our stay at 11 Derwent Yard in London and, without doubt wouldn't hesitate to book with Wright Apartments again. Customer service, attention to detail and the apartment itself were all second to none. Superb! Having made an initial e-mail enquiry, I was made to feel that every aspect of my booking was important and I received personal service throughout. Everything possible was done to ensure my party, which consisted of people travelling from Devon and Somerset in the UK and also from Melbourne, Australia, was made to feel special, and valued. Everything you need can be obtained within a few minutes walk of the apartment and, when it comes to enjoying an evening out, either hop on an E2 bus into Ealing Broadway or simply turn left on leaving the apartment to visit The Plough; a traditional pub serving excellent food and an amazing range of drinks. In conclusion, the location and the apartment itself are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wright Apartments. Book with confidence! The actual apartment provides everything needed, and more besides, to make it a real home from home. No one could possibly regret booking this apartment which provides an ideal base for exploring being located within 40 minutes tube journey to Piccadilly Circus and bus routes immediately outside the door."

"Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Elm Park Gardens apartment. The apartment was extremely well appointed, pristinely clean and the wonderful outlook over the park was a real bonus. Added to that was the convenience of the location, the handy M&S and Sainsburys within a minute's walk and even a postbox just around the corner. The proximity of the Fulham Road and Kings Road made it easy to explore as well as access transport links, yet the apartment's location itself is a tranquil green oasis away from all the hustle and bustle. I would also like to express how impressed we were with your service at Wright Apartments, how especially helpful it was to be shown how to operate all the appliances when you first showed us around. It was also very reassuring to be contacted by the owner midway through our stay to ask if all was satisfactory. We feel you offer an exemplary personal service and were very easy to contact when we needed to extend our stay. I will not hesitate in recommending you to all our friends and family on both sides of the Atlantic."

"We would have no hesitation in saying that the Holland Park House is amongst the best properties we have ever stayed in among a list which would cover many of the major cities in western Europe. The welcome was delightful, the large vase of fresh flowers a lovely touch and all in all an excellent property - warm, cosy and comfortable with plenty of space. It's in a great position, ideally between the small shops of Holland Park Avenue and the large stores of High Street, Ken, with good restaurants all round. Transport is very easy with handy Tube & bus stations/stops. 5***** all round."

Portobello Road Apartment

W11 2QG

We can't help using one or two corny phrases to describe this beautifully furnished and very well equipped one bedroom apartment - bijou and chic come to mind also we have heard it described as a 'cool pad in London's coolest street'. Notting Hill is all around - restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs are plentiful. Two particularly good pubs are the Portobello Gold with its informal atmosphere, good food and e-mail café and the Earl of Lonsdale pub which also serves very good food. Notting Hill Gate underground station is under 10 minutes walk away.

The Portobello apartment is located on the ground floor of a small tidy block in the heart of Portobello Road where the world famous Portobello Antiques Market takes place. The sitting room with its wooden flooring has a large double sofa which folds out to a comfortable bed, a circular glass dining table to seat four people, a digital TV with VCR player, a radio/CD Player and telephone with wi-fi internet connection. Doors lead out from the sitting room to a small balcony overlooking Portobello Road itself. The compact double bedroom faces gardens at the back of the building and has a small built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.  A curtain separates the bedroom from the living room.  The fully tiled bathroom has both bathtub and overheard power shower. The very well equipped kitchen has a four ring gas hob, electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and coffee maker. The flats has central heating and double glazing throughout.

Portobello Market is busiest on Saturdays mornings, but because the apartment is double glazed throughout it doesn't feel intrusive.

Prices:  £680.00 per week for two people and £700.00 per week for three people.  These rates include all utilities, wi-fi internet access and a weekly maid service with linen change.

The apartment is also available on long lets from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 6 months at a weekly rate of £410.00 which incudes all utilities but excludes telephone usage and weekly maid service.

Maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

This is a non-smoking apartment.
