“All we needed for a comfortable stay” (Earl’s Court Square Apartment)

Thank you for letting us book the Earl’s Court Square apartment. As in the past, it has been very easy dealing with Wright Apartments through the whole process and we also wish to thank Rolf for meeting us on our arrival to introduce us to the apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks staying there, as it provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. There were some minor hiccups with the internet on some days, but we understand that a new router is planned which may deal with that. The apartment is very well equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery (perhaps the best we have experienced) and, apart from the aforementioned internet, everything worked perfectly. The plumbing has some of the vagaries we have come to expect in these old buildings, but generally it was fine. The apartment is spacious and light, with a nice outlook through the French doors over the little park across the road. Thankfully, the queen bed was quite comfortable and the central heating was effective. The Earl’s Court Square location was fantastic, with the tube station only about 5min walk away, with the bonus of the Piccadilly line providing a direct service to Heathrow terminals. We found the District line to be very useful for much of our travelling around. There is so much within relatively easy walking distance of the apartment, including a selection of large and small supermarkets. Kensington High Street, Holland Park and Gloucester Road with their varied shops, cafes, bakeries, etc, are all convenient, as well as Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.  Nov ’23

“Great Stay and Locale” (Holland Park House)

This delightful home in Holland Park is the perfect place for long term stays in London…Excellent neighbourhood with easy walking to Kensington High St, Kensington Park, Royal Albert hall etc. and the not to be missed Leighton House about 4 mins walk away. Jennifer the owner is lovely and respectful of us being there as we were of her home. Def Recommend!  Nov ’23

“Un très bon choix” (7 Derwent Yard)

Accueil fort sympathique et serviable. Appartement très propre, bien équipé et très bien situé. Parking couvert gratuit, sous l’immeuble, très appréciable. Ligne “Piccadilly” à 50 mètres, directe en 30 minutes pour le centre de Londres.  July ’23

“Lovely Rustic Charm” (Windermere House)

Lovely. Vanessa was always prompt with her responses to our queries. She received us on arrival and took the trouble to show us around and explained everything in detail. We love the place and enjoyed our stay at this rustic charm. Tastefully decorated and comfortable stay. Nearby parks, eateries and reasonable distance to airport and the city. Thank you again Vanessa for the opportunity and accepting our booking. We’re glad we chose this.   June ’23

“Holland Park House is in a great area” (Holland Park House

The Holland Park House was a highlight of our trip. We loved the area, right across from Holland Park and around the corner from many restaurants. The house was so nice to come home to after a day of sightseeing. I loved the patio and water feature and my son liked lounging in the living room, while my husband hung out in the den. It is great to be able to spread out and the area was so nice and quiet. I would love to stay there again if I am ever in the area.   June ’23

“Windermere Love” (Windermere House)

We stayed a week at Windermere House in April and loved everything about it. The house was very well set up and extremely comfortable. It is conveniently located to shops and transport. Vanessa was a great host and went above and beyond to assist us. We will definitely be back.  April ’23

“Perfect House for a stay in London” (Windermere House)

As a family we had to travel from Ireland to London where my husband was having surgery. After many weeks of trying to find accommodation I finally came across Windemere House in Ealing. It appeared to be the perfect match for what we were looking for. This house is amazing and ticked every single box for a comfortable, easy stay especially in the circumstances we were in. It is so comfortable and has absolutely everything needed for either a long or short stay. There are three big bedrooms and one single. The attic bedroom is like an apartment with ensuite bathroom (with a walk in shower) and a tv. The quality of the bedlinen was excellent. The kitchen is really well equipped with a fantastic cooker, a huge fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc etc. There was so much cutlery, cooking utensils, plates etc which is so important as sometimes when you book somewhere these can be lacking. There is a lovely big table and chairs in the kitchen/dining area. The living area is very comfortable with two big settees and a satellite tv. The area where the house is located is very quiet and you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The WIFI in the house is brilliant and never dropped. Two of the people staying were working and had no problems whatsoever with it. The house is literally a seven minute walk from Northfields tube station where you can get the tube (Piccadilly line) into the centre of London in around 30 minutes. Northfields is also only a short distance from Heathrow so the location of the house is ideal if you are flying into there. The main street is five minutes from the house and there are a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops and also a Sainsbury and Tesco express store. About a twenty minute walk brings you to Ealing Broadway where there is a huge selection of shops and restaurants. Lammas Park is right beside the house and lovely for a walk. There are so many positives to this house – if you’re thinking of booking it do it!! Now for Vanessa. What can I say about her that hasn’t been said before!! From the moment I made an enquiry regarding booking Windemere House she was nothing but helpful. We were very anxious about our trip and Vanessa put our minds to rest. When she met us at the house she couldn’t have been nicer and explained things to us in a concise way with regards to the house. It made such a difference to be greeted with such friendliness and kindness. During our stay she was at the end of the phone for any queries we had and she pointed us in the right direction regarding travel options including an excellent local cab services and restaurant recommendations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Vanessa.   Mar ’23

“Great home base in London” (7 Derwent Yard)

A comfortable flat for four. We travel with grandsons ( age 20). Location is wonderful! We all headed in various directions during the day. Access to the Piccadilly line is next door( 100 ft) at the Northfields station. You are in zone 3 so plan on 30-40 minutes to and from London city center. Bus station across the street. We had easy access to everything. There’s a small convenience market about 150’ from flat and lots of great restaurants, pub and shops/ services. Felt very safe at night walking to restaurants and around the neighborhood during the day. Kitchen is modern but small with everything needed to cook a meal. Did a major shopping via E2 bus to Ealing Broadway M&S supermarket per manager suggestion. Living room was comfortable for four to relax after a day out. Baths are modern and hot water worked great. Web site description of unit very accurate. Vanessa the manager was very responsive and gave great tips and help for items that came up like car service and getting printing done . We look forward to staying in the future.   Jan 2023

“A Most Excellent Stay” (Windermere House)

The Windermere house was perfect for our family vacation to London! We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with a full size fridge/freezer. Everything was very clean. The house is in the perfect location if you want to explore a bit outside the city. Yet it’s very convenient to get to the heart of the city with the Northfields tube station a 5 min walk away. The town of Ealing itself is perfect to explore. They have many restaurants and pubs. Plenty of shopping downtown. One thing I will say though is the washer/dryer combo does not dry clothes and the water is hard water so your whites will not be white if you are not using bleach. As a person coming from America where we have separate washer dryer it was an oddity but not a deterrent. Vanessa the property manager was a breeze to work with! Met us at the house the day of our arrival and showed us the place. Overall we had a lovely time and would book again!   Oct ’22

“Comfortable, unique, walkable – our FAVORITE stay on our 3-country, 2-week trip” (Holland Park House)

This place was comfortable, unique and walkable; it was our FAVORITE stay on our 3-country, 2-week trip. The outdoor patio was my happy place for breakfast each morning; we picked up pastries and a few groceries within walking distance nearby. Meeting the owner was, in hindsight, an immense help, as she showed us how to work all the locks, washer, appliances, etc. The location within London was a fine 12 minute walk to the metro, which we used exclusively, and the locals were friendly and helpful. This place had everything it promised (walkable to cafes/grocery/tube/etc, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, which was amazing for our family of 4), but it actually felt like a real home. We played trivia at night using the games on her shelf, and well, it is just a special place! We truly LOVED IT!!  July ’22

“Great Stay” (Hanwell Village Apartment)

Stayed here 3 times over an eight week period April and May. It was very convenient for trains, shopping and visiting our relatives. The apartment was quiet, clean, comfortable and well resourced. Located in a quiet residential street the apartment was quite spacious. Vanessa’s management was very efficient, cooperative, flexible and enabled some last minute changes due to unforseen circumstances. Hope it’s available for our next visit.  June ’22

“Beautiful home, amenities nearby, quiet neighbourhood” (Windermere House)

Had a great stay at Windermere House. Neat, clean, excellent facilities in the house. Vanessa received us very warmly, we had good contact with her before we went on holiday. The house is near the Lammas Park where you can take a nice walk.  May ’22

Comfortable flat in a great location (7 Derwent Yard)

This flat is well-located, well equipped, clean and quite spacious by London standards. We were greeted with a warm welcome despite arriving on a Sunday afternoon. The Northfields tube station is literally next door, but happily there was no noise issue. It was a pleasure to easily go to central London, 20 minutes away on the Piccadilly Line. Lots of shops and good ethnic restaurants nearby, as well as an excellent bakery, so we were not lacking for anything. The private shared garden behind the building was fun for visiting children. We were visiting family in the Northfields area and will book here again the next time we visit. Much nicer than staying in a hotel room, and good value!   April ’22

A Walking Tour of London (Holland Park House)

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Holland House. The location is really spectacular, a few steps from Holland Park and minutes away from Hyde Park and all that it offers. The flat was ideal for our family of 4 and had all of the amenities that you would expect. The owner met us as we checked in and gave us a detailed rundown of the flat and how to operate the security system. She was also very helpful with logistics questions. We will definitely visit again.  April ’22

Roof Tops

“I booked Roof Tops for my in-laws and they loved it. The house has a lovely and cosy style and every room is sparkling clean. Fresh flowers in the room, fully refurbished bathroom, quiet at night: what else can one ask for? Vanessa is a super discreet and thoughtful host and communication is quick and easy. My in-laws loved it and will definitely come back! Thank you, Vanessa!” Oct ’20

“Excellent Location, Fabulous Space, Great Host” (Windermere House)

We stayed for 3 weeks at the Windermere house. Vanessa was an amazing host and was willing to work with us to get us exactly what we needed. She was available and always ready and quick to help. You can’t have a better location in West London. Just a few minutes walk to grocery stores, lots of wonderful restaurants and cafes, and a 2 minute walk to Lammas park. My girls loved the play park just around the corner. There’s a Sainsburys and Tesco just a few minutes walk and a lot of fabulous restaurants. The space is wonderful! There’s a large open floor plan kitchen, living, dining which was great for family meals and lots of room for our kids to play. The kitchen steps out into a private garden with places to sit and enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave not to mention lots of kitchen necessities. The beds were very comfortable and there is a lot of places to store things in the rooms. The loft was amazing! We used it as an office and it was so nice to look out from the balcony. We also loved that there is a shower room, bath room and w.c. The internet was fast and easy to connect to. I would recommend the Windermere house and Vanessa at Wright apartments to anyone! Thank you for such a comfortable stay. Dougherty Sept ’20

“Christmas 2019” (Windermere House)

With strong family ties to Ealing – finding Windermere House was fantastic. The added fact that the house next door had been where some of our extended family grew up only added to our trip. Vanessa was extremely accommodating – even meeting us there early morning after our long fight from Australia. She had the house warm – with fresh linens set up allowing us to settle in with ease. With 3 adults and 3 children – we had plenty of room for all of us. The rooms are light and airy – plenty of storage for clothing and cases. Our stay was two and half weeks – so we had plenty of time to get to know the area. A short walk to the Tube and a slightly longer walk into Ealing Broadway – this house makes travelling into central London very easy – especially with young children. The large open plan kitchen dining lounge area allowed us to host our family for Boxing Day dinner – plenty of room for us all. The kitchen is fully appointed – making self catering very easy. The fireplace, downstairs toilet and the internet were all added bonuses that made our stay enjoyable. Thank you for a family holiday that has many fond & happy memories. With thanks Rohan Sutton & Nicole Whelan. Feb ’20

“Excellent for our needs” (Windermere House)

A five nights stay, five adults and two children, in this nice house with three floors. It was very spacious and clean and comfortable beds. The contact with the host/contact person Vanessa worked out perfect! The weather was really on our side these days and of course that made our stay even better! Thank you for this time! Nov ’19

“Village Stay” (Hanwell Village Apartment)

The village was very homely and me and my partner really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! B. Lamb Sept ’19

“Simply Great” (Windermere House)

We are a big family – 4 adults and 3 children – and found this perfect house for us. All pictures on the internet are realistic and the house is complete nicely done up and clean. We are fans of London and for our next visit we will book by Vanessa Scales again (thank you for help by the parking!) Greetings from Germany. Aug ’19

“Fantastic” (Windermere House)

Dear Vanessa . It has been a pleasure to be at the Windermere house. The house is just as we imagined. Beautiful very clean and a real feel we were just like at home. Meeting you was amazing and Kasia was very helpful and kind too. I will recommend this house to anyone that wants to have a nice and very well communicated place to the center of London. Piccadilly line Underground is just 3 min walk from home. Thank you very much for all Vanessa. Aug ’19

“Old fashioned comfort, great location, responsive hostess” (Orchards House)

The house is located in a neighborhood with shops only a long block away, with a grocery, eating establishments, ICE CREAM, an ATM, and only a ten minute walk to the subway, Northfields on the Piccadilly line. We stayed 11 days. Our grandson liked having his own room, with two single beds. My husband and I had a room with a double bed. The bath and bedrooms are upstairs. The bath has a shower and tub and a window. There are plenty of towels. We used the washer/dryer to do laundry many times during our stay. The first week the weather was enjoyably warm, but the last few days there was a heat wave, 99 degrees Fahrenheit one day! The house is not air conditioned and this was unseasonably warm for this location. All of London was suffering. We used the little garden in the back a lot. It was refreshing in the hot evenings. We made a few meals at the house but ate out at the local restaurants some or in the restaurants when we were exploring. If you buy groceries it is good to have your own grocery bag, so I carried some in my purse. The kitchen has a gas stove, a microwave, a hot water kettle, a nice refrigerator and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. It is a lived in house so the owner’s belongings are around you. During that time and we were out and about exploring London, taking tours to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge and an overnight trip to the beach at Folkestone. We liked the house location because it is in a London suburb and is not crowded. We didn’t mind taking the subway or Uber where we wanted to go and enjoyed learning how to travel by subway and train. It takes 30 to 40 minutes to attractions in London, by subway. Vanessa helped us immediately if we had questions or problems. She was very responsive and we enjoyed meeting her. This is a good house for you if you like a cozy, lived in feel. L&N Wyatt July ’19

“Surpassed our expectations” (Fulham Apartment)

You have been wonderful to my daughter and me and my regret is that I didn’t get to meet you. Maybe I did unknowingly at Wimbledon! Thank you sincerely for everything that you have done to make our visit so pleasurable. Our week in London and at the Fulham Apartment surpassed our expectations and I will cherish it for a long time. I.P. July ’19

“A clean, modern and spacious flat” (Hanwell Village Apartment)

Thank you for providing such a clean, modern and spacious flat for us during our recent visit to the UK. It was an easy walk to Hanwell Station as well as to the high street and had all the necessary amenities – iron, blow dryer, kettle etc. We look forward to staying again the next time we are in town. “Amazing place!!” (7 Derwent Yard)

I am writing a review about my stay in this wonderful place in London and the amazing owner Vanessa. It was an extremely good experience. We felt like home. Very clean, warm and organized place. It was located at a very convenient location close to all the transportation. Thank you Vanessa!!! I highly recommend that place if you looking for a place to stay while visiting London!!! I. “Excellent Knightsbridge apartment! Great location. Fantastic service”. (Knightsbridge Apartment)

We rented the Knightsbridge apartment at Ovington Court for an eleven-night stay over the Christmas holiday. It was everything we hoped for and beyond! Vanessa Scales was exceptionally helpful, addressing our many questions before the rental, helping us arrange to have a Christmas tree delivered, and upon arrival taking us on a complete tour. We highly recommend this holiday flat, Vanessa, and Wright Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable, carefree holiday rental in London. The Details: The flat itself is light, bright, and and more spacious than it appears in the photos. It was roomy enough for all 5 of us to have some privacy and for our 7-year-old grandson to have space to play even with our Christmas tree set-up in the corner. The kitchen was well-equipped enough to prepare our full-on Christmas dinner and enjoy breakfast each morning. All household items (i.e., soaps, paper goods, dusters) were supplied in generous quantities for our stay. All the appliances were newer and in fine working order. Vanessa’s quick demos of the washer/dryer, dishwasher, and wall oven were helpful–particularly if you aren’t familiar with the European appliances. The baths were impeccably clean, fully-functional and the hot water supply and pressure were exceptional! The beds were comfortable, linens nice although not luxurious, and there was ample storage for luggage and clothing in floor-to-ceiling closets. Given that it was late December we were shocked to find the balcony flowers still in bloom! Probably not typical for December, but we were able to enjoy the fresh air, flowers, a fantastic skyline view & Harrods’ holiday lighting from the balcony. Dining out we were spoiled-for-choice with everything from pub-grub and fast food to 3-star Michelin, all just a pleasant stroll or quick ride away. Two tube stations (Knightsbridge and South Kensington) were a short walk down the street or black cabs were easily hailed from the corner. A quick walk down Brompton–or thru the neighborhoods–takes you to the V&A, Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall. The area around the apartment was a shoppers paradise; a 3-minute walk to Harrods, 15-20 walking to Selfridges and all the shops of Mayfair. Amazing variety of shopping if you’re prepared to pay the price or simply enjoy the amazing window displays. Waitrose online delivers groceries to the flat or quickly grab any necessities at the M&S or Waitrose Local across the street. If forced to find fault with anything about the flat we would warn that the hardwood floors were so highly polished they were slippery and the carpeting in the master bedroom entryway could do with a good cleaning. Otherwise our stay was flawless! C & D Lambert Jan ’19

“Home from home” (7 Derwent Yard)

We have just returned home after our 6th visit to Derwent Yard. It really is home from home for us. Clean, spacious and so very conveniently located for trains, buses, Sainsbury’s, barber, good restaurants etc. thank you Vanessa. You are a pleasure to deal with, always available but never intrusive. Hope to be back soon! B. Thomas. Nov ’18

“Very comfortable, homey atmosphere in an excellent quiet neighborhood” (Holland Park House)

This rental is in fact a real home, with comfortable furniture and appointments one might expect in an upscale London residence. The courtyard just outside the TV room, and viewable from the kitchen, is a highlight, with a water feature, landscaping, ample room for guests, and unusual privacy. The fully equipped kitchen has up-to-date appliances and all the utensils, dishware, and cookware one could need. The location is convenient to tube and bus routes, as well as restaurants, patisseries, and small grocery stores. An electric clothes dryer would be a nice addition, but there are ample drying racks to complement the electric clothes washing machine. We would return. R. Rosenwald. Aug ’18

“Perfect stay for a small family” (Orchards House)

This is the second time I have stayed at Orchards House with 2 kids, the location is perfect for a small family, a quiet oasis of calm, with a lovely small garden but only a few minutes walk from a tube station, park, shops and characterful cafes and restaurants! C. Haddow Aug ’18

“Everything was perfect” (Roof Tops B&B)

Muchas gracias Vanessa July ’18

“Great B&B” (Roof Tops)

Very good location and only a few minutes to the tube station. Vanessa is a very friendly and caring host and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you for looking after Valarie and Ann. June ’18

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay” (Notting Hill Apartments)

We have just returned home from our trip to the UK and would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in the Notting Hill apartment. We have no criticism at all. And we must say that the new bathroom (compared to the pictures) is great. We were greeted by Rolf as arranged who provided an excellent introduction to the apartment and the surrounding area. The apartment is clean and the living area is spacious and nicely fitted out. Can you please pass on our thanks to Rolf for letting us have a late checkout on the day of departure. It was really appreciated and let us spend a few hours exploring the V & A. We did also rent an apartment from you about 9 years ago which was on Portobello Road. In our chat with Rolf we did wonder if they were the owners of that one as well.

Also thanks for your assistance which was always prompt and helpful. Please feel free to use this feedback in your testimonials on the website. May ’18

“Home away from home” (Windermere House)

We have Just returned from our recent holiday to the UK. I’ve stayed in houses whilst on holiday before, and there is one definitive difference between one house and another. The answer? Does it feel like a warm and welcoming residence when you walk through the front door? If the answer is yes, then one can assume that you will thoroughly enjoy your stay and make use of all that the house provides. Windermere house has a welcoming feel, and is filled with abundance. Its warm inviting décor and furniture give you the style you wish for, It has an amazing kitchen, I could have cooked a three course meal with all the kitchenware that was available. Every facility is available at your use in the house, and Northfields station is less than a 5 minute walk, Ealing broadway is a brisk 15 minute walk. I really felt like a local at this property, I would return to this place in a heartbeat! Feb ’18

“More than a house, this became our British home during our stay. Perfect location.” (Windermere House)

Our Christmas stay at Windermere House was incredible. The house was spacious for our family of five and was amazingly well-stocked. As a chef, I am accustomed to cooking in kitchens with Stone Age tools but this kitchen was different. Every utensil I needed was there. Not only did I have everything I needed to cook a proper Christmas dinner, but the kitchen and entire house was CLEAN! There was no need to pre-wash anything (as has been the case in other AirBnB type rentals). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. Towels, pillows and comforters were plentiful. There is also a washer/dryer in the kitchen which was essential for us. We traveled with our 15 year-old triplet daughters who also loved the home. At first they thought they might miss having Christmas at home but they quickly fell in love with the house and the neighborhood. They loved spending a quiet holiday in a British home that we could call our own for a few days. Looking back on our trip which included stays in three properties between London and Paris, Windermere House was hands-down our favorite. In terms of location, the house is a bit outside of city center but that’s to be expected if you’re looking for a quiet residential property. That said, Northfields tube station is literally a 4 or 5-minute walk away. Northfields is on the Piccadilly line, which will leads to many attractions. Piccadilly provides direct access to places like: Heathrow Airport, Kensington Palace and Gardens, Harrod’s, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square (theaters), and the British Museum. If you’re headed to Paris via the Eurostar, the Piccadilly line will take you to to St. Pancras station. All this, from a quiet neighborhood in Ealing. In terms of food and supplies, we were able to find every needed ingredient at the nearby Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s markets. There’s also a nice park just across the way. On a personal note, this review would not be complete without a heartfelt compliment and thank-you to Vanessa, our property manager. She went far beyond normal expectations of a manager. She kindly provided two little table-top Christmas trees to make the home feel like Christmas. Her first introduction to our family was when our flight arrived 15 HOURS late. Instead of our original 8AM arrival time, we instead landed at 11PM. Most of the customs agents had been sent home, leaving a skeleton crew to process a few hundred people. At 1AM when we arrived at the house, Vanessa was kindly waiting for us. Mind you, it was now Christmas Eve morning. She also played a special role for us in slipping some gifts under the tree while we were out, surprising our daughters. Our girls still don’t know how we pulled that off. While I would never expect this level of accommodation, I am beyond grateful for Vanessa’s help. When we as travelers search for accommodation, particularly in international locations, we want to be assured that the listing is real and the manager is fair and kind. I offer you the assurance that you can consider any property listed by Wright Apartments. We are hoping to return to London this summer and will be calling Vanessa again. Jan ’18

“Fantastic house right on the Piccadilly line” (Windermere House)

When booking this trip I was looking for a house for our group of 6 where we had plenty of space & this house exceeded that expectation – the top bedroom is charming with it’s french door windows & en suite bathroom. The other bedrooms were spacious & met our needs very well. The LR was large enough for all of us to relax in at the end of the day. And the kitchen was huge! It is less than a 5 min walk from the tube & we were in downtown London within 30 minutes. Vanessa & Richard were always quick to help & made our stay wonderful. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing vacation! The only thing to note is that we were unable to figure out how to turn on the heated floors in the kitchen but it wasn’t a big deal. “Perfect for us” (Ovington Gardens Penthouse Apartment)

Our family of six stayed here for a week. It was exactly as pictured and perfect for us — very spacious so we had room to spread out, and it had all the amenities we needed. We were within walking distance of all the sights a tourist would want to visit. The decks were a welcome respite after a day of walking all over. There were grocery stores very close and a variety of restaurants within a 5 -10 minute walk. Harrods, Hyde Park, Kensington Park and tube stations within an easy walk. Vanessa was extremely helpful — accommodated our different arrival times, arranged for pickup and delivery to Heathrow, and was always available if we had a question. Aug ’17

“What an absolute jewel of a place” (Holland Park House)

What an absolute jewel of a place! We stayed for 5 weeks approx and Jennifer the owner is an absolute darling and helped us with check in and made sure we had everything to settle in properly. This is a fantastic location, lovely house with a homely feeling which you will not want to leave!!!! Gorgeous patio area, fully equipped kitchen which was a delight to cook in, very cool den area. I love love love and would book again. Aug ’17

“Loved it” (Ovington Gardens Penthouse Apartment)

This apartment is absolutely perfect!!! Went there this summer for our annual family vacation with my 2 boys who had a great time. I love Knightsbridge and this apartment is located in the perfect spot not to far away from Harrods. Very clean and modern with lovely views of the city from the balconies. Very comfortable for a family lots of space. Aug ’17

“Home from home” (7 Derwent Yard)

This was our fifth visit to Derwent Yard – and it really does feel like home away from home. Spacious, clean and so very conveniently located. We don’t even look to book anywhere else. What contributes to a stress-free stay is dealing with Vanessa (Wright Apartments). She is amazing. Any little problems get sorted immediately, she communicates very well regarding the cleaning services and respects one’s privacy. This was our first visit in summer for 40 years, and we were a little concerned that the flat may be too hot (as we had only stayed there in winter previously) – but those fears were ill-founded, as a lovely “through-breeze” can be achieved by adjusting the windows accordingly. I need to work whilst on holiday – and again, the flat is very convenient and spacious enough to achieve working in comfort. The wifi is excellent as well. Hopefully, it will not be too long before we return. Aug ’17

“The accommodations were wonderful” (Earls Court Square Apartment)

My husband and I stayed at the Earls Court Square Apartment and had a lovely time. The accommodations were wonderful. We were traveling alone, but it is a two bedroom apartment with plenty of space. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom along with a large living room and met all of our needs while traveling. The apartment is a very short walk to the Underground, restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. It was convenient to get to all of the site seeing, but on a quiet street with a comfortable balcony overlooking the park. We have stayed in properties managed by Wright Apartments 2 times now and couldn’t be happier with their services. We wouldn’t consider looking elsewhere for our next trip to London. Aug ’17

“Hospitable, convenient and recommended” (7 Derwent Yard)

7 Derwent was very convenient to Heathrow and London city centre. The apartment is very well maintained, comfortable and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London and combining business with pleasure. June ’17

“Roof Tops” B&B

Very nice and friendly host. High standard on room and lovely breakfast. We will definitely come back. Away from central Ealing but very nice and quiet area. Value for money. Review on Airbnb May ’17

“Great place to rest after a day in London” (7 Derwent Yard)

We had a great time in London especially thanks to our flat booking. It is perfect for a family with 2 children, there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living room and kitchen well equipped. Location is just nearby the underground (Northfields station on the Piccadilly line) and there are shops and nice restaurants (especially the Indian one !) close to the apartment. Vanessa is really kind and helpful. She was available when we arrived and took time to explain us everything about the flat. We fully recommend you this flat. May ’17

“Excellent on all counts” (7 Derwent Yard)

The flat is very well kept, pleasant, and its location is extremely convenient (close to the tube station, bus station and a neighborhood supermarket). If you are with a car – you get a spot in an enclosed car park under the building. The representative for the owner, Vanessa, was very helpful and attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed the couple of weeks we stayed in the flat. As frequent travellers to Ealing, we plan to stay at this property in the future. April ’17

April ’17

Translation: “Great location – Good home”. Our family of seven (4 adults + 3 children) stayed at the Windermere House located in quiet Northfields for seven nights. The house is close to a beautiful park and a max 5-minute walk away has everything you need: supermarkets, restaurants of all types. Only a short walk to the Piccadilly line tube which is handy if you are flying into London Heathrow Airport. Typical English house with a small garden in the back. Very kind and helpful that Ms Vanessa on our request printed out our boarding passes for the return flight and delivered them to the property. Recommended highly to families with children. April ’17

“Lovely and welcoming house” (Orchards House)

We stayed at the Orchard house for over 3 month while we had some building work going on in our own home. It is a lovely and welcoming house with a nice little garden. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and baking. The beds are very comfortable, which is a big plus as nights can be short with two small children. Also the location of the house is ideal. Close to a beautiful park, shopping, restaurants and tube station. The road itself is quiet, with free parking not far from the property. We enjoyed our stay very much. A big thank you to the manager and owner for looking after us so well and for being very flexible regarding our leaving date. Oct ’16

“Very nice apartment” (Ovington Gardens Penthouse Apartment)

Very nice apartment and superb location.   I loved it, it is comfortable and very clean and near all the important places in London.  Sept ’16

Aug ’16

“Great stay” (Jefferson Apartment)

Vanessa is a great communicator and ensured the flat was available when agreed and clean and tidy upon arrival.  She was available on her mobile when issues arose and was very pleasant to deal with.

The 1 bed flat on the ground floor was easy to access and had all the required amenities including good size TV, easy to use wifi and full cooking facilities.  It is bright and quiet, which is excellent after a busy day in the city centre.  The flat is as advertised within the images and contained no hidden surprises.

We would highly recommend the flat for people looking to stay in the area for either a short or longer term stay.  April ’16

“Home away from home” (Jefferson Apartment)

This apartment is in a wonderful location. It is close to the tube, grocery store, bus line, ATM and few restaurants. Vanessa is wonderful, very helpful, and really a sweet lady to correspond with. Thanks for everything Vanessa.  We do plan to return to London and will be giving you a call, again Many Thanks Vanessa!   April ’16

“The cottage was perfectly appointed” (Shepherds Bush Cottage)

The Shepherd’s Bush cottage was just the place we needed after 10 days in Europe. The cottage was perfectly appointed with a great eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room with comfortable couches, updated bathroom and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The house is registered so it has a wonderful quaint feel of old England. The location is great, close to grocery stores so that after 10 days of restaurants we could cook more healthy foods and relax at home with good meals. It’s also very close to public transportation and the Westfield Mall, but the street is very quiet so you would not even know it, unless you wanted to. Best of both worlds.

Going even one step further, the owner, Sharon, was warm and inviting. We met her when we arrived and she made us feel welcome from the very first minute. We found that we had alot in common and had a lovely dinner together. We left wishing we lived in the cottage and knowing that we had made a friend. Many, many thanks to the perfect end of a great vacation. We will be back!!! Feb ’16

Testimonial from a property owner

As property owners we have found Wright Apartments extremely thorough, professional and responsive. We are very pleased with their personal service and competitive fees and, over a 10 year period, we have had an occupancy rate of 73% on average. With short term rentals it is essential that our clients receive excellent customer service and Vanessa is always very helpful and friendly and quickly resolves any problems our clients may have. If you are a property owner considering offering short-term rentals, we highly recommend Wright Apartments.  Dec ’15.

“Always enjoyable” (Fulham Apartment)

We are a family of four. We have stayed at the Fulham apartment more than four times over the last few years. It has always been enjoyable. The white stucco apartment is well maintained with modern design. The rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable with good linen and quilts. Travelling is easy as there are many buses in the immediate area that connect to various parts of London…Oxford Street, Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Victoria, Liverpool Street….

We also appreciate the kitchen and dining facilities. When we like to, we can always stay in and have home meals! Above all, Duncun is very helpful and attentive to our needs during our stay and Vanessa of Wright Apartments is most professional and efficient in helping us with our booking etc. Nov ’15

“An amazing week” (Shepherds Bush Cottage)

We had an amazing week and the Cottage was perfect. It truly felt like it was our own little home, very cozy. Being a very short distance to the tube was an added bonus. We loved it and highly recommend it. Oct ’15

“Very nice apartment” (Fulham Apartment)

The apartment was very nice and the local area fantastic. Aug ’15

“Superb Location in Zone 2 Just Steps from Central Line” (Shepherds Bush Cottage)

My wife, daughter, and I spent nine nights at the Shepherd’s Bush Cottage. Overall, it was a great experience.

Positives: The location is fantastic. You are a short, non-crowded walk from the Shepherd’s Bush tube station. However, you are on a dead-end little street that remains relatively quiet. Across one street from the station is a small shopping mall with the budget grocer Morrisons and a couple of good pound stores (aka dollar stores in USA). Across another street is the Shepherd’s Bush Rail Station. It came in handy at least once when we needed to replace the tube with an overground because the District Line had severe delays. A short stroll from the station without having to even cross a street is Westfield Shopping Centre, perhaps the best of its type you’ll find in London. It has many high-end shops but also typical and reasonably-priced ones. Furthermore, it has many options for eating and two places to pick up groceries (Waitrose and Marks & Spencer). Even if you dislike malls, it will be useful at some point during your stay.
The cottage itself is quite roomy for a London rental. Something unique is having three different eating spots that seat up to at least four people: typical dining room table, a table under the glass in the kitchen, and a picnic table outside. We utilized all three.

Negatives: The unit has a clothes washing machine but not a dryer. However, a drying rack is in a closet, and it worked well. Also, a long clothes line is set up on the back patio, but of course, you need cooperative weather. We unbelievably had nine consecutive rain less days in London, so the line worked well in our case. Also, the carpeting on the stairs and on the upper floor needs either a thorough cleaning or replacement. It will get your white socks dark, so wearing shoes or going barefoot works best once leaving the wood and tile of the main floor. The shower leaked on our first night, but the owner had it fixed by a plumber as quickly as possible and was quite apologetic. She also was kind enough to install a shower rod/curtain and provide some bigger towels when requested. She lives down a few doors and was quite accessible and helpful.

Overall, the few negatives are far outweighed by the many positives. Although this property is in zone 2, if you have a tube pass (recommend an Oyster card), you’ll be anywhere in London quickly. The central line is the handiest, and you can easily transfer to any other line from it. Although you could have a few more people stay with the couches, etc., I would recommend this mostly for either three or four people. July ’15

Response from the owner of the Cottage: Thank you very much for staying and I am so pleased that you had a lovely time. I appreciate all reviews. May I apologise if you had any issue with the carpets, but that they are regularly professionally cleaned and have been once again since your departure. For longer stays there is always a hoover and cleaning materials provided. Thank you all the same for your kind words, and I’m glad the weather was nice for your visit. I always like to ensure my guests are comfortable and any issues addressed swiftly and efficiently. I am delighted you found that to be the case with the shower and the towels. I do hope I can welcome you again.

“No problem with this property” (7 Derwent Yard)

Visited 19 June 2015, excellent apartment, booked on line with Vanessa who met us at the apartment and was very helpful. Found the apartment had everything we needed and more. Nice and central, Sainsbury shop and tube station on your doorstep. Windows are triple glazed so no noise, across the road is Apex Cabs which will look after you at a very fair rate for hire and helpful. Would have no problem going back to this apartment and many thanks to Vanessa for her help. June ’15

“Perfect Location” (Holland Park House)

We recently stayed in this beautiful house for a week. It has everything you need as well as a lovely courtyard. Across the road is beautiful Holland Park with gorgeous gardens, squirrels come & eat nuts out of your hands and peacocks roam free. Kensington High Street is a 10 minute walk away through the park. “The house provided us with all we needed” (Windermere House)

As a family of four relocating from the USA back to London, Windermere Road house provided us with all we needed to make a stress-free transition back to life in Blighty. The house was well-equipped, stylish, very comfortable, clean and in a great location. It immediately felt like home. Northfields is a great spot for cafes, shops and access to the tube (just around the corner). The wonderful Lamas park and Warpole park are around the other corner – so the kids were happy and visited twice-daily on scooters. Vanessa, our agent, was super kind and efficient. As we were waiting for our ocean shipment to arrive at our permanent address (and the date became a moving target), Vanessa understood our predicament and was able to extend our stay which was a huge relief. We remember our time in this lovely home with great fondness. May ’15

“Beautiful home, convenient location” (Holland Park House)

The house is beautiful and spacious – most of our time there was spent on the back terrace. After a long day of touring the city, it was such a nice place to relax, have some wine, and watch the sun set. The house is within walking distance of Holland Park, the tube, restaurants, Kensington Palace, grocery stores, shopping, etc. Everything you need is close by. I was not able to meet the owner, Jennifer, in person, but she was a joy to speak to over the phone. May ’15

“Perfect Location” (Shepherds Bush Cottage)

Shepherds Bush Cottage is in a great location. Very handy to everything you could possibly need including money changers, ATMs the London underground and buses. Plenty of food shops and restaurants near by. The cottage was very well appointed, clean neat and tidy, with a nice outdoor area. If I go back to London I would stay again. It was living like a local. May’15

“Everything a traveler needs” (Jefferson Apartment)

We can’t rate this property highly enough. It has everything a traveler needs, and a few things that are nice-to-haves that are rarely provided. Lots of electrical outlets in every room (bring plenty of adapters if you need them). Consistently strong and uninterrupted WIFI. Hooks! Does anyone else like to hang daypacks, coats, towels, and other items on hooks? We do! Plenty of closet space, with lots and lots of hangers, and plenty of shelf space. Unpack and put the luggage away! Outstanding lighting, both natural from the full-length windows, and electric– overhead and from lamps. Thick high-quality draperies on smooth tracks block out unwanted light when sleeping in and recovering from jet lag. A dining table large enough both for dining and for spreading out maps and using computers/tablets when planning a day of sightseeing. Good quality dishes and flatware, almost-new appliances that work and have instruction manuals provided; and a full-size refrigerator. The bed was too soft for us, but other reviewers loved it. This place was as advertised, but with so much more. It is in a secure building, a supremely quiet apartment in a quiet neighborhood, which was just turning to Spring when we were there. All the cherry and apple trees were in bloom and each yard had tulips, daffodils, and irises. Wonderful parks nearby. Tip: The ATM at the Northfields Underground Station dispenses both euros and pounds. The station is not crowded, the attendants are helpful, and security is good. Reviewers have mentioned various times to get in to Central London. We timed it each trip and can say authoritatively that it takes 30 minutes to get to Piccadilly Circus from the Northfields Station. You really can get to Ealing easily from Heathrow if you don’t mind the stairs at the Northfields Station and the ten minute walk to the apartment with your luggage. We took a taxi. Vanessa was waiting for us and went over everything in detail, answered questions, and left us in peace. Our stay could not have been better. We give this property our highest recommendation. April ’15

“Feels like home” (7 Derwent Yard)

This was our second time staying at the apartment and like the first time we found the flat incredibly comfy, clean and with all our needs perfectly provided for. Vanessa met us on both occasions to welcome us to Derwent yard and made sure everything was to our comfort. Very nice, quiet area with tube and buses nearby, supermarket and shops too. Easy to get to and from different places. Will definitely be back!!! I totally recommend Derwent Yard to anyone travelling to London. April ’15

“Convenience” (7 Derwent Yard)

Great location in Northfields – adjacent a tube station, the apartment has all necessary facilities, clean and modern. We would stay again when back in London. April ’15

“Wonderful Apartment” (Harrington Apartment)

We booked this apartment as it was close to our family in Ealing and we live in the USA. As soon as we entered the apartment we knew we had made the right choice. It was exactly as described on the website and in fact in reality it was even nicer so we were extremely pleased. Our visit was for nearly two weeks so it was important we felt at home. The apartment is modern and beautifully presented and equipped with pretty much everything you have in your own home! There are several good pubs, restaurants and cafes in the immediate area as well as grocery stores so everything is covered. The tube station is a ten minute walk away or just two stops on the bus. We had a wonderful time and when we next visit the family we will definitely stay at the Harrington.

“Most Memorable” (Jefferson Apartment)

Myself and my two kids got to the apartment at Jefferson Close early. We met Vanessa already waiting for us, she had already waited longer than anticipated. She was very welcoming, and when we got into the apartment it was purely as described.!
Extremely clean.! The neighborhood very pleasant and classy. Everything one needs is by the corner and God’s presence can be felt in the neighborhood as the house is adjacent to a church and I felt very much at home. Tube station is less than 5 mins walk. The neighborhood is tourist friendly as we got all the assistance we needed just for the asking,. The man who owns small grocery store at the station, assisted us with directions on how to move around and assisted in processing our Oyster card (travelcard).
My children so desired this apartment that we wished we could stay longer..
My son got so friendly with the apartment he became our GPRS ! He could hop in and out of trains with ease, because accessing ones movement is very easy from there. Heathrow is about 20 mins we didn’t need a cab to the apartment!!
I will sure stay here again ! Oct ’14

“Great holiday location” (Shepherds Bush Cottage)

Just back from a great weeks holiday in London. The house was located within a short walking distance from the underground and from Westfield shopping centre. Perfect location. Great facilities and perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children. Aug ’14

“Wonderful location with great customer services” (Orchards House)

My husband and I took our 18 year old nephew to London and stayed for 11 nights at the Orchards Holiday Home. It is in a great location with only a short walk to the Underground station. The neighborhood was nice and quiet with grocery stores and restaurants also within a short walk. The home was clean with all the necessary amenities. We had plenty of hot water, a washer and dryer, WiFi, and everything one needs for preparing meals in a full kitchen. A car isn’t necessary if you are visiting areas served by the London Underground or Train system. We needed a car at the end of our stay and had no trouble getting to the freeways or parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better visit. Vanessa, the property manager, was attentive to our needs and available for questions. She and the owner went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was wonderful. Aug ’14

“Great flat” (Jefferson Apartment)

The best part about this flat is the bed. It is so very comfortable. Very clean, quiet, close to the tube line. Would stay again. June ’14
