We are delighted to offer this lovely contemporary one bedroom apartment in Canary Wharf, London’s major business district.  Canary Wharf  was built in 1936 and was a subsidiary of Fred Olsen Lines for the Canary and Mediterranean Island fruit trade. At their request the warehouse and quay were given the name Canary Wharf.   A beautiful and modern part of London, Canary Wharf’s iconic skyline is an integral part of the landscape and now with the expansion of Jubilee Place shopping mall, its striking architecture is home to an even more extensive array of exclusive shops and fine restaurants.  Just a ten minute walk from Canada Water on the Jubilee Line and Surrey Quays on the East London Line this property is in a quiet location with a pleasant outlook close to Greenland Docks and Surrey Commercial Docks.  Greenland Dock is the oldest of London’s riverside wet docks, located in the area of the city now known as Docklands.  Greenland Dock is now used purely for recreational purposes and is one of only two functioning enclosed docks on the south bank of the River Thames.  Close by is Canada Water, Russia Dock Woodland, South Dock and Surrey Quays.
